A Lesson Before Dying. Consider this…
Learning is a process that is only observed in our behavior. If you can’t do it, you haven’t learned it. Information is absorbed. Knowledge is formed.
With this in mind, please tell us what is the most important lesson you want to learn before dying. We also welcome general commentary and feedback on your experience at the play.
I’m really looking forward to seeing the show tonight.
Brilliant directing… and acting. I finally saw what Harold Pinter talked about so much: the subtlty of a pause, a tiny twitch of the face. In our 10+ years of attending at Profile, this is the best of all we have seen. Then I realized who the director was, recognized what we admired so much at Portland Playhouse Theater.
Will PP end? If not, where will it be playing? We thought it would be perfect at the World Trade Center — and a larger “audience” possible than at the east side.
Portland Playhouse is back in the church! Come celebrate our homecoming by catching the Brother/Sister plays there.

I was lucky enough to catch this play on opening night and I’d like to offer another round of applause to the cast for their excellence in bringing Mr. Gaines’ characters to life. I’d also like to thank Profile Theater and The August Wilson Red Door Project for bringing this play to our thoughts and our community. Hopefully, the more that we are confronted with the inhumanity of institutional racism, the closer we’ll be towards eradicating this social injustice and, ultimately, the closer we’ll be towards peace and harmony.

Jun19 LOL! In essence you have to reebmemr they have been married for 10 plus years and have been in the medias eye since stepping into the spotlight as a couple. Though it may seem that she is putting it out all there however what she is saying for a relationship to stay strong whether you are a hollywood couple or a typical couple in order for it to stay strong, healthy and re-newed you must 1. Create a friendship and 2. Find what makes YOUR relationship (and sex life) work. That is what she was saying.
I love your ideas. They really help, I apeaicprte all the work that goes into them. It would really help if you could post them a little earlier. Sometimes you have music suggestions, etc and it is too late to arrange it for our ward or make use of the library by the time I can get the lesson. Do you have others that feel the same way? Thanks again. I will gladly use anything whenever it is posted, but it would be nice to get it a little earlier.
