Kevin Jones, Co-founder, Artistic Director, & CEO
Kevin is the principal conjurer and co-creator of The August Wilson Red Door Project. He is an award-winning actor and director who has performed on the American stage for more than 30 years. Kevin is also a communication, organizational and diversity consultant with over 25 years’ experience working with private and non-profit organizations. His approach utilizes complex systems thinking, cognitive mechanics and organizational change theory.
Lesli Mones, Co-founder
Lesli Mones is the co-founder of August Wilson Red Door Project and Plural Consulting, an executive coaching and consulting company that focuses on the breakthrough development of leaders. For the last 25 years she has been helping people develop the self-awareness tools that result in real behavioral change. Lesli’s coaching is grounded in the beliefs that change is inevitable, growth is intentional and intelligent risks are essential to fulfill one’s potential.
Bonnie Ratner, COO
Bonnie has over twenty years’ experience as a nonprofit administrator, writer and educator with expertise in community development, literacy, race equity and public relations. She also has an
extensive background in theatre arts and literature as a writer, producer, director, actor and educator. Ratner also writes professionally in the community building and public health fields.
Jory Bowers, Operations Coordinator
A graduate of the Evergreen State College where she studied Social Justice and the Arts, Jory has been living in Portland, working in the theater community since 2011. Jory has stage managed for Artists Repertory Theater, Third Rail Repertory Theatre, Coho Productions, and more. She came to theater in high school, and therefore has a passion for bringing the benefits of theater to young people.
